Meet the Human Butts

Natalie Mahoney

President, Co-Founder

Natalie brings a unique background in public health, nutrition, and research to the organization. She holds a degree in Public Health and Health Education, is a certified human and dog nutritionist, spent three years owning and operating her own nutrition business. Her path to animal welfare began when her rescue pittie was diagnosed with cancer, an experience that led her to become a certified dog nutritionist and lit a fire in her to spend her life advocating for dogs. Above all, she is a deeply passionate advocate for shelter animals who believes every dog deserves to be seen, loved, and given a real second chance outside of a kennel. Natalie is committed to using her background in health, community engagement, and her love for dogs to build something that changes lives, for the dogs and for the people lucky enough to find them.

Favorite dog breed: Anything with big ears.

Garett Mahoney

Garett brings a strong background in leadership, business, finance, and community service to the organization. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, has owned and operated businesses, serves as a Lieutenant in the fire service, and has experience serving in leadership roles within the fire service community. Above all, Garett is a huge dog lover and passionate advocate for animals, believing every dog deserves a safe home, a second chance, and a family that will love them unconditionally. Through Wiggly Butts, he is committed to using his experience, leadership, and passion for dogs to help save lives and create better futures for dogs and the families who love them.

Favorite dog breed: Idk I just love all dogs.

Kelsie D’Antonio

Kelsie D’Antonio is a local real estate professional, lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom who joined Wiggly Butts Foundation to help more dogs get the second chance they deserve. She brings a background in marketing, communication, and community outreach to the board, along with a genuine love for connecting people and helping wherever she can.

Favorite breed: Pitties and Frenchies.

Treasurer

CJ Newey

CJ is the numbers guy at WBF, bringing his background in accounting and finance to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. He joined WBF because he loves dogs and wanted to put his skills to work for a cause that means something; helping more pups find the safe, loving homes they deserve. When he’s not keeping an eye on the numbers, you can bet he’s probably stopping to say hi to every dog he sees.

Favorite dog breed: St. Bernard (the bigger and fluffier, the better!)

Aracely Rivera

Aracely is a psychology student at the University of New Mexico, 1st Runner-Up Miss New Mexico with National American Miss, and a lifelong dog lover who wanted to turn that love into something real. She joined Wiggly Butts Foundation to do exactly that, and has since expanded the foundation's reach through adoption events, local business partnerships, and creative fundraising opportunities she has built from the ground up. She also represents WBF through her pageant platform, bringing shelter dogs into spaces and conversations they wouldn't otherwise reach. She brings community connection, creativity, and a genuine belief that showing up for dogs is one of the most meaningful things you can do for a city.

Favorite dog breed: Boxers for their playful and snuggly personality.

Krista Allenby

Krista has always wanted to help dogs and has fostered more than 70 special- and medical-needs dogs, using her background in marketing, fundraising and entrepreneurship to help rescues raise money and get dogs adopted. She joined Wiggly Butts to bring those worlds together, using creative marketing and community partnerships to get shelter dogs out of their kennels and in front of the people who might fall in love with them. She brings big ideas, a willingness to make animal welfare a little less serious when it needs to be, and a belief that doing good can also be really fun.

Favorite dog breed: Anything with a giant head and meaty lips.

Harley & Chorizo

Meet the founding butts behind the foundation.

Harley is a pittie with a butt so wiggly it inspired an entire nonprofit. She runs the show and is the reason Wiggly Butts Foundation exists, one wiggle at a time. Chorizo is a corgi with a big butt, a bigger attitude, and absolutely zero respect for authority, especially Harley's. He is the reason Butts on the Move exists and the reason we can't have nice things. Together they are the heart, the inspiration, and the daily reminder of exactly why we do what we do. Every dog deserves what these two have; a home, a family, and someone who thinks their butt is the greatest butt in the world.

Favorite dog breed: Themselves.
