Wiggly Butts Foundation does not accept dog surrenders, facilitate private placements, or operate a rescue intake program. We are a small, community-driven nonprofit entirely focused on getting dogs out of the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department shelter — dogs who are already there, already waiting, and already running out of time. That is where every ounce of our capacity goes.
We are not able to take your dog in or find them a new home directly. We wish we could.
What we can do:
If you share your dog's story on Instagram and tag us at @wigglybuttsfoundation, we will do our best to repost it and get their face in front of our community. It's not a guarantee, but it's something, and our audience loves dogs.
