We don’t wait for people to come to the shelter.
We bring the dogs to them.
Wiggly Butts Foundation is Albuquerque's newest nonprofit dog rescue, bringing shelter dogs into the community through events, run clubs, and partnerships so they can meet their people outside of a kennel, where they truly shine.
Our Butt Print on Albuquerque
75 dogs adopted
84% adoption rate at our events
97% adoption retention rate

Everything you see was built by community and a labor of love. And we’re just getting started.
What we have built in less than one year:
In January 2026 Wiggly Butts Foundation was an idea. By September 2026 we have become one of Albuquerque's most active nonprofit dog rescues; with zero paid employees, zero grant funding in year one, and everything built on community love.
75 dogs placed into forever homes
97% of those dogs are still in their homes
50+ volunteers giving their time every month
125 approved run club participants
35+ community events hosted
This is what showing up looks like. Help us show up even bigger.
